It is desirable to exclude tags that have a disproportionately small number of hits. However, what criteria could be employed to exclude these? It's almost like dropping the tags from the two-ends of a bell-curve if we were to imagine one. Is there a simple way to arrive at this?

There has to be a minimum size specified on the tag clouds or there is no need to display the unreadable tags..
